Yes. Land Between the Lakes has several campgrounds operated by the U.S. Forest Service, including developed campgrounds and more primitive camping areas. There are no privately operated campgrounds inside LBL.
Some do. You will find campgrounds with water, electric and sewer hookups, along with others that offer electric-only sites or more basic camping. Check each campground’s amenities before choosing your site.
Many campgrounds around Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley make it easy to get on the water. Depending on the property, you may find a boat ramp, shoreline access, a fishing area or space to park a boat and trailer.
