About Moors Resort and Marina
Moors Resort Lodge places hotel-style rooms at the center of a longstanding Kentucky Lake resort on Buckhorn Bay. The lodge gives couples, fishing partners, and small families a private room near the marina and shoreline, while the cottages and larger rentals elsewhere on the property serve groups that need full kitchens and additional living space.
Each lodge room includes two queen beds and a private bathroom. A microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, television, and Wi-Fi cover the main needs of a multi-night stay. Housekeeping is included with lodge accommodations, giving room guests a different experience than the self-contained cottages spread across the resort.
The room-based format keeps the day centered on the lake rather than household chores. Breakfast or coffee can begin in the room, and lunch or dinner is available seasonally at Ralph's Harborview Bar & Grill. The restaurant overlooks Buckhorn Bay and adds food, drinks, live music, and seasonal events within walking distance of the lodge.
The marina sits nearby as another defining part of Moors. Daily slips, fuel, bait, tackle, a marina store, and a rental fleet support anglers and recreational boaters. Pontoon boats, tritoons, fishing pontoons, jon boats, and jet skis have all been part of the rental lineup, giving lodge guests several ways to spend time on Kentucky Lake without hauling their own equipment.
Moors has welcomed visitors since the early 1950s, and the lodge remains connected to that history. Buckhorn Bay, nearly a mile of resort shoreline, cottages, dining, and boating services all share one property. The lodge provides the room-based option within that larger setting, allowing guests to stay close to the water while still having a private space of their own.
Benton, Gilbertsville, Kentucky Dam, Grand Rivers, and Land Between the Lakes are within driving distance, but much of a stay can unfold at Moors itself. A morning launch, an afternoon by the shoreline, and dinner overlooking the harbor can all take place without leaving the resort.
