Birdsong Resort, Marina & Campground has been part of the Kentucky Lake shoreline since 1961, giving the property a history that stretches across generations of family trips and fishing seasons. The resort sits along Birdsong Creek, where a protected harbor branches away from the Tennessee River and creates a natural gathering point for cottages, campsites, and boats. Guests arrive by road or water, but the creek remains the common thread through the entire property.

The resort includes 28 rental cottages, giving families and fishing groups a furnished place to stay close to the marina. Cottages keep mornings simple for anglers heading out early and provide a home base for families spending the day near the water. The campground adds another way to stay, allowing RV travelers and campers to share the same resort setting while keeping their own outdoor routine.

Birdsong's marina is one of the property's defining features. Roughly 150 slips serve seasonal boaters, overnight visitors, and cruisers traveling the Tennessee River system. The resort lies about 1.5 miles inside a deep, buoyed channel, with the Birdsong Creek light and the familiar sign near river mile 103.7 guiding arrivals from the main river. That location has made Birdsong a recognizable stop along America's Great Loop.

Fishing remains closely tied to the resort's identity. Birdsong Creek opens directly into Kentucky Lake and the Tennessee River, giving anglers access to protected creek water, nearby bays, and the broader lake. Days can begin at the marina, move onto the water, and end back at a cottage or campsite without leaving the property.
