Lakeview Cottages is part of Lakeview Cottages & Marina in Cypress Cove near New Concord and the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. The property dates to 1949 and has been operated by its current family owners since 2021. Nine cabins create a lodging collection with different sizes, views, and layouts, allowing couples, families, fishing parties, and reunions to stay on the same grounds without choosing identical accommodations.

Every cabin includes heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, streaming television, a full kitchen with cookware, a bathroom, linens, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. Private or covered decks bring the surrounding water and woods into each stay. Cabin guests may reserve the party pavilion, and discounted boat slips place the marina within a short walk. Boat rentals and golf carts add more ways to move around the property and onto Kentucky Lake.

The smaller cabins use studio or one-bedroom layouts that keep sleeping, cooking, and living spaces close together. "Bluegill" combines a queen bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen, and covered deck for up to four guests. Other units add bedrooms and larger porches. "Striper" includes two bedrooms and a screened porch, while the newer "Crappie" cabin sleeps six and has a tiled bathroom and vaulted covered deck.

Larger groups can choose among several multi-bedroom lodges. "Big Bass Lodge" is a remodeled three-bedroom log cabin with two dining tables, a screened porch, and room for up to nine guests. "Smallmouth Lodge" includes three bedrooms and sleeps up to eight, while "Shellcracker" adds a large three-season room to its two-bedroom layout. These differences give families and fishing groups room to choose the style of stay that fits them.

The "Homestead" adds an ADA-compliant option with an entrance ramp, open living and kitchen space, three bedrooms, an accessible bathroom with a broad open shower, and a covered deck overlooking the lake, beach, and marina. That cabin expands the range of groups the property can welcome. Pet-friendly policies and varied occupancy also help multi-cabin reunions remain together.

Lakeview Cottages feels closely tied to the marina without losing the character of a cabin property. Mornings can begin on a private deck, days can move toward a boat or fishing trip, and evenings can return to grills, fire pits, and the shared pavilion. The history, cabin variety, and direct relationship with Cypress Cove give the property a strong sense of place on Kentucky Lake.
