About Venture River Water Park

Venture River Water Park is located in Eddyville near Interstate 24 and Lake Barkley. The outdoor park covers nearly 40 acres and features 15 attractions, including body slides, tube slides, children's play areas, a wave pool, and two river experiences. It operates seasonally, and the daily calendar is located on their website.

Hurricane Bay is an 18,000-square-foot wave pool holding roughly 480,000 gallons. The water reaches different depths depending on if the wave cycle is operating, with the deepest area reaching several feet. Kupuna River is a newer river attraction covering more than 16,000 square feet. It has a zero-depth entry, water around 38 inches deep, and requires a tube or life jacket. Another river attraction provides a more conventional lazy-river experience.

Wipe Out is a multi-level slide structure with tunnel slides, a racing slide, interactive water features, and dumping buckets. Cabanas include lounge chairs and a lock box. Larger retreat rentals add a picnic table, chairs, refrigerator, fan, lounge chairs, and lock box, and they allow larger coolers under the posted food policy. A private indoor event room provides air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave, and seating for a small group.
