Shawnee Bay Resort's marina centers the waterfront side of a 15-acre Kentucky Lake property built around fishing and cottage stays. One, two, and three-bedroom cottages sit near the docks, each with a screened porch overlooking the lake. The marina allows anglers and families to keep lodging, boats, supplies, and shoreline time close together throughout the visit.

Covered slips are available in single and double-wide configurations with electric hookups for battery charging. Daily and weekly dockage supports guests who bring a personal boat, while the launch ramp and fuel station keep the trip moving. The marina's layout gives fishing groups a straightforward way to move between the cottages and the water.

The rental fleet includes Tracker and Lowe fishing boats along with Bennington and Sedona pontoons. Fishing boats provide a focused setup for anglers, while pontoons give families and larger parties more room for cruising, sightseeing, or a day spent together on Kentucky Lake.

Live and artificial bait, tackle, fishing licenses, ice, topographic maps, souvenirs, and other supplies are available through the marina. A weigh station and freezer service support tournament participants and guests keeping a legal catch. Fishing is also available around the marina dock, where Kentucky Lake species such as bass, crappie, white bass, catfish, sauger, and bluegill move through according to the season.
