About Country Cottage

Country Cottage gives guests a rural stay on 300 acres of farm fields and woodland near Calvert City. The three-bedroom, one-bath home has about 1,400 square feet and sleeps up to six people. Its setting feels separate from a resort or subdivision, yet Kentucky Lake, Interstate 24, Paducah, and nearby communities remain close enough for lake days, shopping, dining, and regional travel.

Two bedrooms are located downstairs, each with a queen bed. The third room is upstairs and contains two twin beds, a layout that works well for children, friends, or other family members traveling together. The bedrooms provide a conventional sleeping plan for six guests, while the shared bathroom includes a custom tiled shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, serving pieces, and everyday meal-preparation items. A breakfast nook seats four at a bar-height table, and the main dining table seats six. Those two areas give the group room for meals, games, or morning plans. The living room includes a Roku television, and Wi-Fi supports streaming and general internet use.

A laundry room with a washer and dryer adds convenience during a longer stay. The cottage is pet friendly and includes ample parking on the property. The surrounding acreage gives guests a chance to see wildlife and experience the working landscape of western Kentucky, with fields and woods extending beyond the immediate yard.

Front and back porches are central to the character of Country Cottage. The larger porch includes seating and dining space, giving the group room for coffee, an outdoor meal, or time watching the countryside ettle into the evening. The house is about five minutes from Interstate 24, roughly 13 minutes from Kentucky Lake, and around 20 minutes from Paducah. That balance between rural space and regional access gives the cottage its place in a Kentucky Lake trip.
