About Kentucky Deer Run Cabin
Kentucky Deer Run Cabin brings together a lake house, an accessible layout, and a dedicated creative space on two acres near Benton. The four-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps up to eight guests and has been remodeled with wide doorways and a paved route leading toward the private dock. Families, anglers, and quilting or craft groups all find different reasons to use the property, but Kentucky Lake remains the common setting.
Sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and two rooms with twin beds. The two-bath layout supports a full house, and the main living areas are arranged for shared meals and time together. A stone fireplace anchors the great room, while the dining area connects directly to the updated kitchen.
The kitchen includes standard appliances, a Crockpot, large roasting pan, toaster, Keurig, drip coffee maker, cookware, dishes, storage containers, and basic oils and spices. Laundry, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning, towels, and linens add the household features needed for a longer stay. The interior feels like a complete family home rather than a stripped-down cabin.
A refinished walk-out basement added in 2025 gives Kentucky Deer Run a distinctive role among lake rentals. Strong lighting, sturdy worktables, electrical outlets, irons, ironing boards, a sitting area, and a coffee maker create a space for quilting, crafts, and group projects. Creative retreats can work together without taking over the kitchen or main dining room, while other guests gain another indoor gathering area.
Outside, a large furnished deck overlooks the property and provides room for meals and conversation. Gas and charcoal grills, a fire pit with wood, a fish-cleaning station, shoreline seating, and electrical power at the dock support days centered on the lake. Two kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards are included, and the private dock gives guests a place for boating, swimming, and fishing.
Kentucky Deer Run Cabin stands out because its strongest features do not compete with one another. The accessible route, lake equipment, private dock, broad indoor spaces, and craft-focused basement all serve different parts of a group. A family can spend the day on Kentucky Lake, a quilting group can settle into the basement, and everyone still has a shared home above the water.
