About The Lakehouse Inn at Sledd Creek
The Lakehouse Inn at Sledd Creek gives a longtime lake-area motel a fresh boutique identity. The locally owned property began a complete renovation after the former Bel Air Motel changed hands in 2022, updating all 18 guest rooms, four cabins, the lobby, pools, and shared outdoor spaces. The compact layout remains familiar, but the details now lean toward a boutique stay close to Kentucky Dam Village.
Every guest room includes a kitchenette, keyless entry, updated bedding and linens, Wi-Fi, television, a fan, and a sleep machine. Small touches such as spa robes and carefully chosen room amenities give each room more personality while keeping the layout easy to use. The four cabins add full kitchens and covered porches, giving families and longer-stay guests more room to settle in.
Mornings begin in the lobby, where a coffee bar and espresso machine sit beside a gathering area and continental breakfast. The lobby also connects to vending and guest laundry, keeping several everyday needs in one place. That central space gives guests somewhere to meet before heading to the lake, Kentucky Dam Village, or another stop around the region.
The pool area is what sets Lakehouse Inn apart. One pool is set aside for swimming, while the second is arranged for lounging. Together they sit beside a roughly 5,000-square-foot patio with seating and room for families to spread out. Pool towels are supplied, and selected Saturday evenings may bring music to the patio during the warmer season.
Two pavilions, picnic tables, grills, fire pits, cornhole, washers, dominoes, ping pong, volleyball, and other games carry the shared space beyond the pool. Four EV charging stations, boat and trailer parking, outdoor battery-charging outlets, and on-site laundry reflect the practical needs of modern lake travel.
The BelAir Grill adds meal options on site, while the Postcard Lounge provides another gathering place and room for smaller meetings. Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is about a minute north, Maggie's Jungle Golf is across the road, and Land Between the Lakes begins a short drive away. The Lakehouse Inn brings those nearby attractions together with a property that feels refreshed, social, and closely tied to the northern Kentucky Lake area.
