About King Creek Resort & Marina

King Creek Resort sits along King Creek Bay near Benton, where a protected arm of Kentucky Lake gives the family-owned property a clear center. Seven cottages, camping, a marina, a private beach, and water rentals share 12 acres near the shoreline. The resort is compact enough for guests to move easily between lodging and recreation while still giving cabins and campsites their own space.

Cottages include one, two, and three-bedroom layouts and sleep as many as eight guests. Smaller units fit couples or fishing partners, while larger cottages give families conventional bedrooms, shared living areas, and room for meals together. Shade trees and lake views carry through much of the resort.

The campground adds daily tent sites and seasonal full-hookup sites with 50-amp electrical service. Campers remain close to the same beach, playground, marina, and outdoor areas used by cottage guests. This arrangement works well for extended families whose members prefer different lodging styles but still want to spend the day together.

King Creek's marina rents pontoons and fishing boats and serves transient and seasonal slip customers. Fuel, bait, and related lake supplies help anglers prepare for the day without leaving the resort. The bay offers a protected starting point before boaters move onto the main lake, while the creek itself gives anglers and paddlers water to explore.

A private sandy beach, floating dock, playground, grills, outdoor seating, and stand-up paddleboard rentals broaden the stay beyond fishing. The resort is across the lake area from the Rock Quarry "Party Cove" and within driving distance of Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky Dam, and Grand Rivers.
