About Brandon Hunter Fishing

Brandon Hunter grew up around Kentucky Lake and developed his fishing experience on its shallow cover, deep structure and river ledges. A competitive angler as well as a guide, he focuses primarily on largemouth and smallmouth bass. Trips can be planned as a day of recreational fishing or shaped around a specific skill an angler wants to improve.

Technique-focused trips may cover deep structure fishing, electronics use or another method selected in advance. Brandon also works with tournament anglers who want to prepare for an event or better understand how bass use the lake under changing conditions. His guide service provides the boat and fuel, while guests are asked to bring a fishing license, rods and reels, food, drinks, sunscreen and clothing suited to the forecast.

Brandon provides individual electronics training on the water. Topics can include forward-facing sonar, unit settings, GPS, structure interpretation and fish identification. The instruction is designed to help an angler understand what the unit is showing and make practical adjustments in a real fishing setting. Training is available for Lowrance and Garmin systems.

Brandon is based in Benton, Kentucky, and Kentucky Lake is his home. His guide and training options give anglers a way to combine fishing time with focused instruction, whether the goal is learning one technique, preparing for a tournament or becoming more comfortable with modern electronics.
