Shelter Point Retreat South gives families and groups a private house on Kentucky Lake with room both upstairs and down. The three-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps up to 10 guests, using two queen bedrooms and a third room with two sets of extra-long twin bunks. The bedroom arrangement keeps most sleeping space enclosed while leaving the main living areas open for meals and shared time.

The kitchen is built around group use. Appliances, cookware, tableware, utensils, and a dishwasher support meals at the house, while a long dining table gives everyone a central place to sit together. The deck adds more seating outside, allowing breakfast, dinner, or a quiet afternoon to move toward the lake when the weather is right.

A finished basement creates a second indoor gathering area with additional seating, family games, and a collection of movies. That separation is useful when children want a different activity or part of the group is ready for a quieter evening upstairs. Wi-Fi and laundry facilities add the practical pieces needed after days spent swimming, fishing, or boating.

The private dock sits in a small bay and connects the property directly to Kentucky Lake. It provides a place for fishing, swimming, and keeping an appropriate boat during the stay. A patio, grill, and the surrounding outdoor areas give the group several ways to spend time beyond the deck, keeping the shoreline part of the house rather than a separate destination.

Shelter Point Retreat North is next door. Reserving both homes gives an extended family or large gathering the full lakefront point, with separate kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms still available to each household. South also stands on its own for smaller groups. Murray provides restaurants, groceries, and services, while Land Between the Lakes add regional outings when the group is ready to explore beyond the property.
